Find Lincoln County Court Dates

Need a Lincoln County court date? Start with the court level and the type of case. Lincoln County splits its court calendar between Superior Court and District or municipal matters, and no single search covers both. A posted court docket shows a scheduled setting, while a statewide calendar lookup can find an upcoming hearing by party name. Hearings move, though. So confirm anything you find with the clerk, the court administrator, a filed notice, or the attorney handling the matter.

Lincoln County Court Calendars Explained

Lincoln County does not publish one calendar for every court level. The county Superior Court docket gives the recurring Tuesday plan and links to cancellation notices. Its core blocks are Family and Civil Law at 9:30 a.m., criminal matters at 10:30 a.m., and Juvenile Court or dependency matters at 1:30 p.m. The rest of the week is generally reserved for matters set at a special time. Those blocks identify where a case belongs, but they do not guarantee the precise call time of one matter.

The separate Superior Court hearings notice identifies ordinary blocks and can announce a special date, judge pro tem, or out-of-county judicial officer. District Court has its own calendar and clerk. Match a Lincoln County court date to Superior Court, District Court, or a city matter routed through District Court before reading the entry.

Lincoln County Tuesday Docket

Local rules add detail to the public Tuesday summary. Adoption, chambers, and approved telephone matters may begin at 9:00 a.m. The 9:30 block can include civil, family, probate, guardianship, ex parte requests, defaults, trial settings, venue changes, and short motions. Preliminary appearances, arraignments, status or review hearings, omnibus proceedings, and pleas generally occupy the 10:30 criminal block. Juvenile truancy, at-risk-youth, dependency, and offender work is placed at 1:30, while show-cause, dissolution, argued-motion, and special matters may be heard at 2:30.

These are docket categories, not promises that a case will be reached at that minute. A prior matter can run long, a judge may reorder the call, or a case may be continued. Juvenile information can also be restricted even when the calendar category is public.

Finding Your Court Date

For a District or municipal case, the Washington Courts Find My Court Date tool is the direct calendar path. Choose LINCOLN DISTRICT COURT and search with the first and last name shown on the case. It reads a real-time transactional database, though it can respond more slowly during peak daytime hours. For Superior matters, check Odyssey Search Hearings, the county docket, and the latest filed hearing notice.

  1. Identify Superior Court, Lincoln District Court, or a municipal matter served by District Court.
  2. Search by the exact case number when possible. For a name search, verify court and case details.
  3. Compare the result with the county docket, courthouse posting, latest filed order, and information from counsel.
  4. Confirm date, time, room, and appearance method with the proper clerk before a time-sensitive hearing.

Online access is only one channel. The Superior Court Administrator confirms calendar issues at 509-725-3081, the County Clerk checks recent Superior filings at 509-725-1401, and District Court answers at 509-725-2281. The County Clerk counter is on the second floor at 450 Logan Street, Davenport. District Court is at 406 Sinclair Street. A specific mailed request can go to the correct clerk. Courtroom postings, counsel, and signed notices are also useful checks.

Selecting the right court matters as much as spelling the name correctly because the calendars use different paths.

Lincoln County Calendar Tools

The statewide Case Search and Find My Court Date serve different needs. Ordinary Case Search is a faster, daily-updated reference. Find My Court Date queries current District and municipal calendar data. For a future limited-jurisdiction setting, use the calendar tool first and Case Search for the case history. Lincoln Superior hearings can also be searched through Odyssey by location, hearing type, party criteria, judicial officer, courtroom, and date range.

Best check: A portal result is a lead, while the newest filed notice and direct court confirmation control when a Lincoln County matter is set.

A daily case feed and a live calendar may reflect a change at different times. A mismatch is a reason to compare sources, not proof of cancellation.

How to Read a Court Setting

A Lincoln County court setting combines identifiers with scheduling facts. Match the case number and caption first. Then distinguish the calendar block from the proceeding. An arraignment begins plea and rights procedure; an omnibus hearing addresses criminal pretrial readiness, discovery, motions, and scheduling; a status or review checks progress rather than deciding the case. A continuance means the event moved and does not decide the merits.

Date and time The scheduled day and block, not always an individual call-time promise.
Case number The court identifier; compare every letter, hyphen, and leading zero.
Courtroom The room or remote setting, subject to a later assignment.
Judicial officer The judge or commissioner assigned; pro tem means temporary coverage.
Setting type The event, such as arraignment, status, omnibus, plea, motion, or show cause.
Result The outcome or next action, which may be pending, continued, completed, or reset.

District entries may also show an item number, party roles, offense, offense date, domestic-violence indicator, and failure-to-appear or warrant notation. Treat these as case-management fields. Obtain the signed order when legal effect matters.

Lincoln County Odyssey Hearings

The Odyssey Search Hearings screen covers participating Superior Court matters. Filters include location, hearing type, search type, judicial officer, courtroom, and start and end dates. Party mode provides last, first, and optional middle-name fields. The live lists are dynamic, so choose the Lincoln location and current displayed values.

Narrow the date range, then compare the party and case number before treating the result as a match.

Odyssey needs JavaScript and cookies. If controls do not load, try a supported browser or call the County Clerk. Anonymous users may see public case information, but restricted cases do not appear and a calendar hit does not make every document public.

Continuances, Resets, and Cancellations

A continuance moves a proceeding to a later date. A reset changes the setting, while a cancellation removes a docket or event that may later be restored. None means the case was dismissed. Lincoln County warns that a Superior docket can be canceled and reinstated, so an old PDF or cached page should not be the final check.

Review the event sequence in the Lincoln County case lookup, then compare the newest notice or order. Call the Superior Administrator for a Superior calendar issue or District Court for a limited-jurisdiction matter. If represented, contact counsel, since counsel may receive scheduling notice before a public display refreshes.

Note: A vanished calendar line does not cancel the duty to appear; confirm the change with the court that set it.

Lincoln County Calendar Deadline

For ordinary Superior Court Law and Motion work, local rules state that a matter must be placed with the Clerk by noon on the Tuesday before the requested Tuesday calendar. The Clerk prepares the docket, distributes it to the judge and requesting attorneys, sends it to the Juvenile Office when needed, and provides copies for posting. That lead time explains why a filed motion and a confirmed hearing are not the same thing.

Matters expected to take more than 15 minutes are specially set. Matters over 30 minutes are scheduled as trials. A “special set” entry therefore reflects expected length, complexity, judge availability, or another case need. Ask the Administrator about the approved time and appearance method.

Lincoln County Remote Hearings

Most Superior Court matters other than trials may be heard by phone when the parties stipulate or the court finds good cause and authorizes it. The request must reach the Administrator at least three days before the hearing. The court records the proceeding electronically, and a participant retains the right to request in-person argument.

A label such as “telephonic,” “chambers,” or “ex parte” describes how the matter is handled, not its result. Ex parte means a request presented without the ordinary contested-hearing format, subject to court rules. Confirm connection instructions directly because the public fields may omit them.

If You Miss a Court Setting

Act at once after missing a Lincoln County setting. Call the court shown on the notice, provide the exact case or citation number, and ask what the docket now records. Contact counsel if represented. Do not assume a new date was assigned. District fields can include failure-to-appear and warrant notices, and consequences depend on the case and order.

Missed a Setting? A missed date can lead to a failure-to-appear entry, warrant, or other case-specific order.

Call the proper Lincoln County court and your attorney immediately to learn the status and approved next step.

Seek advice from a licensed lawyer when a warrant, release condition, or criminal charge may be involved.

District Court also posts a Tuesday 11:30 a.m. warrant-resolution docket, but local information excludes DUI and domestic-violence warrants. Confirm eligibility with the clerk before relying on that path. Staff can state what the record shows but cannot give legal advice.
